How to Solve Meowdoku Level 103

Stuck on Meowdoku Level 103? This step-by-step guide will walk you through the logic needed to find every cat and solve the board.

Our first move is in the bottom-left of the puzzle. The only logical spot for a cat in the fuchsia-colored region that also satisfies the requirements for column 1 is in the corner.

  • Place the cat in row 9, column 1.

This placement helps us solve the left side of the board. Now, looking at the light pink region, there is only one cell that isn't blocked by row 9 or the no-touch rule from our first cat.

  • Place the cat in row 3, column 2.

With two cats placed, we can turn our attention to the top right. In the brown region, row 1 is the only available row. Placing a cat at (1, 7) avoids conflicts with our cat at (3, 2).

  • Place the cat in row 1, column 7.

Next, let's solve for the gold-colored region. With cats in rows 1, 3, and 9, many spots are blocked. The only valid placement is in the top-right corner.

  • Place the cat in row 2, column 10.

Now for the lime green region near the center. Row 4 is completely open. Placing a cat here avoids conflicts with all previously placed cats.

  • Place the cat in row 4, column 4.

The yellow region in the middle now has a clear spot. With rows 1, 2, 3, 4, and 9 occupied, the only place for the yellow region's cat is:

  • Place the cat in row 6, column 6.

We can now fill in the remaining fuchsia-colored spaces. Row 7 needs a cat, and column 3 is free and doesn't touch any other cats.

  • Place the cat in row 7, column 3.

This is followed by a placement in row 8.

  • Place the cat in row 8, column 5.

Only two cats remain! The large teal area has its only spot in row 5.

  • Place the cat in row 5, column 9.

Finally, only row 10 and column 8 are left. The last cat must go there, completing the puzzle.

  • Place the cat in row 10, column 8.
