How to Solve Meowdoku Level 30
The most logical starting point is the dark pink region, which consists of a single cell. Place the cat in row 6, column 3. This immediately fills row 6 and column 3, and no-touch rules eliminate all adjacent cells from holding a cat.
Next, examine the orange region in column 7. Since row 6 is full, the orange cat must go in row 4 or 5. This effectively reserves column 7 for the orange region, meaning no other cats can be placed in that column.
Look at the bottom two rows (rows 8 and 9). They are composed entirely of mustard cells and light yellow cells. Because each region only gets one cat, one row must take the mustard cat and the other takes the light yellow cat. This restricts the light yellow cat to the bottom right, meaning all light yellow cells in rows 1 through 7 are completely empty.
Because light yellow is eliminated in the top rows, row 1's cat must be in the pink region. Place the cat in row 1, column 2. With the pink region finished, row 2’s cat must be in the brown region. Place the cat in row 2, column 5, which stays safely clear of the pink cat.
Now focus on the left side of the board. For the purple region, place the cat in row 3, column 1. To satisfy the green region—since most of its lower cells are blocked by the dark pink cat—place the cat in row 4, column 4. For the orange region, place the cat in row 5, column 7.
Now, complete the right side and bottom. For the blue region, place the cat in row 7, column 8. For the mustard region, place the cat in row 8, column 6. Finally, for the light yellow region, place the cat in row 9, column 9. This completes the puzzle while respecting all region and no-touch rules.
