How to Solve Meowdoku Level 270
This Meowdoku puzzle can be solved by first identifying the easiest placements. Several colored regions on this board consist of only a single cell. Since every region must contain a cat, we can immediately fill these spots.
- Start with the single-cell pink region. Place the cat in row 4, column 2.
- Next, there is a one-cell yellow region. Place the cat in row 6, column 3.
- The board has three more single-cell pink regions. Place the cat in row 7, column 8, another in row 8, column 9, and the last one in row 9, column 4.
With these five cats placed, the rest of the puzzle becomes much simpler. Now, use the rules of rows, columns, and no-touching to find the remaining four cats.
Let’s look at the top-left light blue region. The cats we've placed already block most of its cells. The only valid spot that doesn’t conflict with another cat's row, column, or diagonal is the top-left corner. Place the cat in row 1, column 1.
Now, consider the dark green region on the right. Rows 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are already occupied. The only row available for a cat in this region is row 3. The only cell that fits is row 3, column 7. Place the cat in row 3, column 7.
Only two cats are left. The brown region in the top section still needs a cat. With the other cats blocking surrounding cells, the only safe and available spot is in row 2. Place the cat in row 2, column 5.
The final cat belongs in the last empty row, column, and region. The only remaining spot is in the light blue central region. Place the cat in row 5, column 6.
With that, all nine cats are placed, and the puzzle is solved
