How to Solve Meowdoku Level 210
Stuck on Meowdoku Level 210? This step-by-step walkthrough will guide you through the logic needed to find where every cat belongs.
A good place to start is often a small, constrained region. The dark red region in the bottom middle of the board has only six cells (row 8, columns 3-5 and row 9, columns 3-5). Examining the rows and columns, the only safe spot that doesn't conflict with other regions is in row 8.
- Place the cat in row 8, column 4. This places a cat in the dark red region and claims row 8 and column 4.
Next, look at the light blue region on the left. With row 8 now occupied, the cells at row 8, column 1 and row 8, column 2 are blocked. This leaves fewer options. The most logical placement, avoiding conflicts with future placements in other columns, is in row 7.
- Place the cat in row 7, column 2.
Now let's solve the top-left dark green region. Row 1 has several open spots. However, placing a cat anywhere but the far left would create conflicts with adjacent regions.
- Place the cat in row 1, column 1. This satisfies the region and blocks all adjacent cells.
With cats in columns 1, 2, and 4, let's turn our attention to the orange region. Many of its cells are now blocked by the no-touch rule from the cats we’ve already placed. The only viable cell remaining is in row 6.
- Place the cat in row 6, column 3.
The board is starting to fill up. Let’s place the cats for the right side. The purple region in the top-right corner is a great target. Columns 1, 2, 3, and 4 are taken. The best spot is in column 8.
- Place the cat in row 3, column 8.
This new cat blocks the adjacent cells, including row 4, column 8. This leaves only one spot for a cat in the small, three-cell light green region.
- Place the cat in row 4, column 9.
Only three cats remain! The remaining columns are 5, 6, and 7.
- Place the cat in row 2, column 5. This fits perfectly in the lime green region.
- Place the cat in row 5, column 7. This is the only spot left for this row that isn't blocked.
- Place the cat in row 9, column 6. This is the final cat, completing the puzzle
