How to Solve Meowdoku Level 35

Solving this puzzle requires careful deduction, starting with the most restricted areas. Begin with the small regions at the top. The yellow region and the dark pink region only occupy the highest two rows. If you put a cat in row 1, column 10 for the dark pink region, the yellow region would be forced to place its cat in row 1 as well. Since a row can only hold one cat, this breaks the rules. Therefore, place the cat in row 2, column 10.

This single placement heavily restricts the teal region on the right edge. Because cats cannot share rows, columns, or touch diagonally, the only safe cell remaining for the teal region is row 5, column 9.

Next, focus on the light pink region. The teal cat blocks the lower pink cells, and row 2 is already occupied. The safest spot that avoids touching any nearby cats is row 3, column 7.

With the right side taking shape, look at the sprawling brown region. Balancing the available columns leads us to place its cat in row 4, column 5.

For the scattered light green region, we must avoid the occupied columns 7 and 9, leaving row 7, column 8 as the perfect fit. Right below it, the sand-colored region is easily solved by placing a cat in row 8, column 6.

Now, return to the yellow region at the top left and safely place its cat in row 1, column 3. This leaves a clear path for the orange region to place its cat in row 6, column 2.

Finally, resolve the bottom-left corner. Place the dark green region’s cat in row 9, column 1 to avoid a diagonal touch from row 8. Complete the puzzle by placing the purple region’s cat in row 10, column 4!
