How to Solve Meowdoku Level 13

To solve this board logically, the best strategy is to look for the most restricted colored regions first.

The dark yellow region in the top right consists of a single cell. Place the cat in row 1, column 8. This immediately completes the requirements for row 1 and column 8.

Similarly, the dark pink region contains only one cell. Place the cat in row 6, column 2. This satisfies row 6, column 2, and blocks several surrounding cells due to the strict diagonal no-touch rule.

Now examine the light yellow region in the bottom left. Since column 2 and row 6 are occupied, and adjacent cells are blocked by the no-touch rule, your options are severely limited. Place the cat in row 8, column 1.

Move to the blue region. The left side is restricted by the cat in column 2. To avoid touching any existing cats while fulfilling the region's requirement, place the cat in row 4, column 3.

Next, look at the dark green region. The cat in row 1, column 8 eliminates the top right cells of this shape due to the row and diagonal no-touch constraints. Place the cat in row 3, column 6.

In the large brown region on the right side of the board, column 8 is already filled. To stay clear of the occupied rows and avoid touching the cat in row 3, place the cat in row 5, column 7.

For the light pink region near the bottom, you must navigate around the active columns and the no-touch zones radiating from the cats in rows 5, 6, and 8. Place the cat in row 7, column 5.

Finally, the extensive light green region requires one cat. With most columns and rows now occupied, checking the remaining empty rows reveals the last safe spot. Place the cat in row 2, column 4.
