Step 1: The Single-Cell Regions
Start by looking for colored regions that only contain exactly one cell. These give you guaranteed placements.
- Place a cat in row 4, column 1. It is the only cell in the dark pink region.
- Place a cat in row 7, column 7. It is the only cell in the purple region.
Step 2: The Blue and Light Pink Regions
Next, look at the blue region. Because row 4 is full and row 4, column 1 blocks diagonals, the only available blue cells are in column 3 (row 5 or row 6).
- If you place the blue cat in row 6, column 3, it blocks the entire light pink region from having a valid spot.
