How to Solve Meowdoku Level 19

Start by looking for the smallest colored regions, as these provide the tightest restrictions. The purple region consists of only a single cell. Place the cat in row 8, column 7.

Next, examine the gold region on the right, which only has two cells: row 6, column 7 and row 6, column 8. Since column 7 already has a cat, place the cat in row 6, column 8.

Move down to the light green region in the lower middle. Row 8 is already occupied by our first placement. Row 7, column 6 diagonally touches the cat at row 8, column 7, making it an invalid spot. Therefore, place the cat in row 7, column 5.

Now look at the brown region above that. The cells at row 6, column 5 and row 6, column 6 are blocked because they touch the cat at row 7, column 5. To stay clear of this and satisfy the region's rule, place the cat in row 5, column 6.

The light pink region spans several cells strictly within column 4. Row 7 and row 6 are blocked because they physically touch the cat at row 7, column 5. Row 5 is restricted because we just placed a cat in that same row. So, place the cat in row 4, column 4.

Shift your focus to the blue region near the top. To safely clear this area without touching the cat in row 4, column 4, place the cat in row 2, column 3.

For the dark pink region on the far left, you need a spot that does not diagonally touch the cat in row 2, column 3. Place the cat in row 3, column 1.

In the large yellow region at the bottom, we must find a valid placement that avoids touching the columns we just filled. Place the cat in row 9, column 2.

Finally, resolve the dark green region that borders the top and right edges. To securely avoid all previously placed cats and fill the last remaining empty row and column, place the cat in row 1, column 9.
