How to Solve Meowdoku Level 22
The most logical starting point is the highly restricted single-cell region. The bright blue region in the lower-left area consists of exactly one square. Place the cat in row 8, column 3. This immediately satisfies that region, fills row 8 and column 3, and rules out all diagonally touching cells.
With row 8 occupied, look at the light pink region in the bottom-right corner. Since it can no longer use its row 8 cell, the cat must go in the bottom row. Place the cat in row 9, column 8.
Moving up the right side, the small purple region needs a cat. To ensure it doesn't touch the cat in row 9 and leaves space for the regions above, place the cat in row 7, column 7.
Next, focus on the brown region spanning the middle right. With columns 7 and 8 filling up below, place this cat in row 5, column 6. This perfectly clears row 5 without violating the no-touch rule with the purple cat.
Now look at the left side of the board. The large magenta region must be solved next. With the surrounding bottom rows restricted, place the cat in row 6, column 4. Above that, the light green region finds its safe spot; place the cat in row 4, column 2.
For the dark green region near the top middle, place the cat in row 3, column 5 to avoid touching the placements in columns 4 and 6.
Only the outer edges remain. The light orange region on the right side is forced into the top corner area. Place the cat in row 2, column 9. Finally, the large yellow region in the top left is resolved by elimination. With all other columns and rows claimed, place the final cat in row 1, column 1.
