Welcome to our walkthrough for Meowdoku Level 276! This puzzle requires careful use of logic to ensure every cat is placed correctly according to the rules: one cat per row, column, and colored region, with no cats touching, even diagonally.
Our first breakthrough comes from analyzing the pink-colored region. This region includes cells in row 1, row 2, row 3, and row 4. Several of these potential spots are quickly ruled out by other cat placements.
The cat in row 2, column 9 eliminates the possibility of placing a cat in the adjacent pink cells at row 2, column 8 and row 3, column 8 due to the no-touch rule. Similarly, the cat at row 5, column 7 blocks the pink cell at row 4, column 7. This leaves only a few options for the pink region's cat. After considering the other cats in column 9, the only logical spot remaining for the pink region is in the top row.
Place the cat in row 1, column 3.
