How to Solve Meowdoku Level 28
The easiest starting point is the unique olive-colored cell at row 2, column 2. Since it forms a single-cell region, you must place the cat in row 2, column 2.
Next, notice the isolated pink cell at row 5, column 8. Because it acts as its own separated region completely surrounded by other colors, place the cat in row 5, column 8. This immediately restricts several surrounding cells due to the strict no-touch rule.
With those established, look at the larger pink area slightly lower on the board. To satisfy this region without touching the row 5 cat, place the cat in row 8, column 7.
For the orange region in the bottom right corner, the only safe spot that doesn't diagonally touch the row 8 cat is row 9, column 9. Place the cat in row 9, column 9.
This forces the dark green region's cat to the far right. To obey column rules, place the cat in row 6, column 10.
Now, the bottom row needs a cat. With the right-side columns completely filled or blocked by diagonal no-touch rules, the brown region offers the perfect available spot. Place the cat in row 10, column 6.
Moving back to the upper half, the purple region needs its cat. To safely avoid diagonal contact with the cats we just placed, place the cat in row 3, column 5.
For the very top row, the large light green region has limited safe columns left. Place the cat in row 1, column 4 to keep it clear of the cats in row 2 and row 3.
Focusing on the lower-left yellow region, place the cat in row 7, column 3. This securely fills the yellow region while avoiding the filled columns 2 and 4.
Finally, the light blue region on the far left needs a cat. The only remaining empty column on the board is the first one. Place the cat in row 4, column 1 to successfully complete the puzzle!
