How to Solve Meowdoku Level 44

Start by finding the magenta region in the center. It consists of only a single cell, meaning the choice is made for you. Place the cat in row 4, column 6.

Next, look at the purple region in the bottom right, covering row 9, columns 6 and 7. Since column 6 already has a cat, you cannot use it again. Place the cat in row 9, column 7. This immediately blocks column 7. Look at the teal region just above it. With column 7 blocked, only one cell remains available for this color. Place the cat in row 3, column 8.

Examine the dark green region, which only has two cells: row 7, column 4 and row 8, column 4. Meanwhile, the larger light green region is forced entirely into column 5 because columns 6, 7, and 8 already have cats. If you put the dark green cat in row 7, column 4, it would diagonally touch and block every available light green cell in column 5. To prevent this, place the cat in row 8, column 4.
