How to Solve Meowdoku Level 64

To solve this cat-placement logic puzzle, you must place exactly one cat in every row, column, and colored region without any cats touching each other, even diagonally.

Start with the most restricted area on the board. The dark green region consists of only a single cell. Place the cat in row 7, column 1. This satisfies the dark green region and entirely fills column 1 and row 7.

Next, look at the bottom-left light pink region. Since column 1 is already taken, we must find a safe, available column. Place the cat in row 9, column 2. This satisfies row 9 while avoiding the diagonal reach of the first cat.

Now examine the purple region in row 6. Because column 2 is taken by your previous move, place the cat in row 6, column 4.

For the light green region, columns 1 and 2 are restricted. Place the cat in row 4, column 3. This successfully occupies column 3 without breaking the no-touch rule.

Move to the small olive region near the bottom. Place the cat in row 8, column 5. This satisfies row 8 and safely avoids touching the cat in row 6, column 4.

Next, focus on the top-left teal region. To fill column 6 safely, place the cat in row 2, column 6.

For the light yellow region, you need an open row and column. Place the cat in row 5, column 7.

With only a few open spots remaining, look at the brown region. Place the cat in row 3, column 8.

Finally, resolve the top-right dark pink region. Place the cat in row 1, column 9. This final move completes the board with all cats safely distanced!
